Meditation for beginners
Isn't a easy thing to start with, in this busy life we are overloaded with stress and anxiety on its high levels. which in-turn is cause of many health issues...
Even i tried to meditate for more than some months, but still i feel i can only be on for very less time.
The time you have to meditate is as below
Your age=minutes
if you are 25 years, try meditating for 25 mins in a day..
Some of the tips which helped me are as follow:-
- Initially start with 2 mins of meditation.... Yes, you heard it correctly just try to close your eyes for 2 mins and concentrate on your breathing.
- Do not change your breathing pattern, just observe your breathing.
- Initially you have so many thinking striking to your mind which tries to disturb your silence. be practical and accept it.
- Slowly increase the time of the practice, best time to perform this practice is morning 6 or evening 6.
- it isn't compulsory for this time, even before you go to bed,fr 10 mins you can try doing this.
- If you cant take silence, you can meditate by playing silent music, or even OM. you can get this in youtube as well.
Instead of so many anxiety medicines, it is very great if we can control our thoughts which will inturn reduce our stress and anxiety.
PS:- please avoid Mobile phones and other smart devices when trying for meditation!! better if you can sit in a dark room initially to get catch of silence.
