Hair Care @ home!! our basics

Hey all,

Lets talk about our hair care @ home today!! hair is so important to gals, it makes us look even more beautiful!! isn't it?

I see now a days, many of us have hair loss reasons could be many
Example:- Hormonal imbalance, pollution, stress........

But these all have solutions, it is just that we should have little more patience for our selves, rather eating 3 tablets which has sooo many side effects, dnt you think spending some time on us makes lot of difference?

Try and understand your hair and scalp!!
I know ppl will say i have this long hair i see daily what is there to understand...
but try differentiating


  • Dry or oil or normal hair
  • Dandruff?
  • Splits?
  • Hair falling?
Once you are done with this!! lets think about past was there a single day were we went to our schools with out mom oiling our hair?
How many days in a week we used to shampoo our hair?

When basics are so important in our life, why are we forgetting/ignoring them?
i understand now pollution is more so we shampoo our hair more, but with out oiling hair shampooing is like killing hair!!


So the basic step is Oiling your hair frequently....
1.) Use coconut, castrol, mustard or olive oil heat it and massage it to your scalp this will increase blood circulation to head and will open up pores.
2.) Apply oil with cotton rather with hair it will equally help in spreading the oil on scalp.
3.) Wrap a warm towel to your hair or use steam. let the oil sit on your head for 1 or maximum 2 hours
4.) shampoo it, do u remember soapnuts? try them monthly once!! does really clear off your dandruff
5.) if you have dry hair use soap nuts with hibiscus leaves(4 to 5)
6.) dry hair properly not under fan or hair dryer, these spoil the quality of the hair :(

Some basic hair packs:-


  • Soak two spoons methi overnight morning grind it to paste and apply to hair(reduces hair loss, moisturizes hair, helps in hair re growth)
  • After oiling before 10 mins to head bath, apply egg white and leave it untill it dries.(Protein for hair)
  • Try banana ripe one, good conditioner
  • Apply hair pack 15 days once which comprises of Amarnath leaves, green leaves, betroot, mehndi leaves, egg full, and tea decotion. leave it for 2 hrs and apply to hair and leave it till dry wash your hair once dry, apply coconut oil and next day morning shampoo it!! u will defnetly love it
Eat greens and veggies more include 3 to 4 fruit servings!!
Exercise do yoga (shirsasana, haalasana)
Almonds are too good for hair and complete body have them!

Ask your grandparents what they used to do!!

Pedicure!! @ home

Hey all,

Did we ever think pedicure can be done @ home? rather in parlours?

which can save money and make you explore yourself. if we do it @ home, we can do it monthly 3 times which is actually good for legs.

let me take you through easy steps to do pedicure @ home!

Requirements:-


  • Nail polish remover
  • Baby shampoo
  • Detol
  • Olive oil 1 spoon
  • Rock Salt
  • moisturizer


Steps:-
  • Remove nail polish, prepare a tub with warm water and mix baby shampoo, detol, olive oil and rock salt. You can add some fresh flower petals or oils like lavenders
how does ingredients help?
  1. rock salt helps in removing the dead skin on feet.
  2. Olive oil helps to retain moisturizer.
  3. shampoo removes dirt from legs.
  4. detol helps in healing cracks and wounds.
  • place your feet and let it be in for 10 to 15 mins, those who have more cracked heels or dead skin soak for more time.
  • remove the feet out and now start using the brush shown above which will help in removing the dead skin, and brush your feet completely so that it removes dead skin above feet too.
  • use shampoo on feet while using brush so that it would not hurt.
  • now remove the legs out and wipe completly and apply moisturiizer , this is a must after pedicure as it helps in retaining the moisturizer back.
  • Apply nail polish and you are done :).

Home Made facial steps

Facial @ parlours are little tough these days, because our skin is gettng reacted to many of the so called chemicals.
i have a quick question, even our ancisters had the same skin what we have.
so does this means, they have the same facials and beauty saloon?

Not really, but yes a parlour is grown up from the house itself. ancient ladies used to use there home as parlour as there are soooooooo many things which can pamper your skin and get the glow....

lets see how easy it is to get a facial @ home!!

Steps include:-

  • Cleansing
  • Steaming
  • Scrubbing
  • Massaging
  • Face mask
  • Moisturizing


How to cleanse face @ home?

Did you know we many tyms say cleansing milk? which means normal milk also can be used as a cleanser.
Yes, you heard it correctly take a cup of milk and a cotton apply this milk clock wise and anti clock wise for 5 mins and wipe off with the cotton.

Tip:- apply this milk to neck and back as well this will help in removing ALL the dust from your face and milk is a self moisturizer so dsnt harm your skin :)

How to steam your face @ home?

After cleansing is complete wipe the face off! now steam the skin to open the pores out
Steaming can be wither done with steamer, those who do not have steamer boil water in a bowl and dip the turky hand towel in it and cover the face with it leaving the nose open.
this allows the pores to open

Tip:- always steam face for 10 to 15 mins as it helps in opening the pores and lets the dead skin out

How to scrub your face @ home?

Did you ever try sugar and olive oil as scrub? you will never regret use it!! also u can add honey instead of olive oil a very gud scrub for all Skin types!

Tip:- Do clease face for 10 min in circular motion to remove the black heads and keep skin fresh.

How to massage face @ home?

Now lets talk something about skin types:-

Dry :- Banana& honey, Papaya, layer of milk & turmeric & honey
Oil :-Fruits like apple or banana
Normal: all above

take the ingredents available in your house and start massaging clock wise and anti clock wise for 15 mins. initially lil tough but trust me once you get used to it very easy!!

How to get face pack @ home?

lets answer this question before we go further,
Why do we need a mask

  • Tighten skin
  • Glow
  • remove small marks

Yes, mask is used to perform the above actions
Egg white can be used as mask
Papaya
Banana
Gram flour mixed with milk and turmeric

all the above can b used as pack kp it on face for 10 mins cover you eyes with cotton pads with rose water or cucumber pieces

and rinse this off

Last but not least now we have pampered our face, to conclude we have to always apply moisturizer. this is normal one which u have at home

You are done with the facial, to get gud affect do not apply any checmicals like soap or face wash over night!!

next day morning it is all set, you will have a glowing face :)

Tip for Acne

Easy tip......


Take a Vitamin E capsule and open it on your face.and give your face a light massage. Let it soak for 30 minutes. Take egg white and apply it on your skin and let it soak for 30 minutes and then rinse with cold water. These two home made remedies can help you get rid of your acne and open pores problems and with its regular use, your skin will become smooth and radiant within few days....

Skin Care!! winters!!

No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow. 

Winters are almost heavy this time!!
We gals have to take care of sooooo many things..
skin, hair, health... pheeewwwwww!!

Can we make it easy and natural, than freaking out on winter products? and spend soo much of money?

first thing first... 

If we do not take care of our skin in winter, our spring wouldn't be awesome!!

Some tips i followed for my extra dry skin.. and it worked

We have to care our skin mornings and nights also!!

Why Night? Because winters throws those clod wings on night also.. so care is very much important
Mine is extra dry skin!! And you know how extra dry skin works in winter…. Huff

But trust me it is very east to take care.

What you need:-

Almond Oil (any one which you get from your local shop)
Olive oil
Boro Plus
Sunscreen Lotion
Krack Cream
Parachute hair oil
Ghee
Green Leaves.

Now how we use these ingredients…..

Daily morning when we wakeup and brush later have 1 cup green tea or what ever preferred… winters normally block our nose… so daily try to take steam which will resolve sooo many problems.

But just 10 mins before steam apply almond oil and massage ur face and neck gently fr 5 mins… let some oil be left on skin… so that when you stem it will not remove oiliness from your skin…

After steam apply few more drops almond oil and massage gently and leave it.. as we normally prefer to take bath with VERY HOT water in winters… this is most req…

Take 2 drops of olive oil and massage your lips….

Before you go to take bath… if you are taking head bath.. make sure you apply heated parachute oil heated with few green leaves ( which lets the hair to be black) before 30 mins…

Now when you take bath make sure u use less hot water on your face…

After bath.. make sure you apply moisturizer soon… as in winters evengs and mrngs are too cold.. afternoons are also too hot

So sunscreen is very much required after you apply moisturizer, try applying sun screen on it… it will giv a natural look..

And hair dry it naturally than using blowyer, which spoils the textures.
Even make sure you apply body lotion to body..

Night once you come back from office…use some wet tissues to clean you face from dust which you got from outside… and apply almond oil and go for sleep.

Those who apply kajal, remove it properly and use wet tissue. And then massage almond below eyes so that there will b no dark circles.

Winters you have to take care of legs… apply krack cream and apply mustard oil to the lower feet massage and wear socks and go to sleep J

It all looks too much, but trust me this is all very much needed to take care of you skin and hair in winters…

Low calorie foods


13 low calorie snacks:-

Was trying to find out some low calorie food, which i can quickly get/make and go to office.
below are 13 low calorie food which can be used when someone is on dieting

  1. 30 pistas
  2. 2 boiled eggs
  3. ½ small bagel + 1 Oz smoked salmon + 1tblspn cheese cream
  4. 1 cup steamed edamame beans
  5. ½ apple + 2 tbsp peanut butter
  6. 1 cup 1% milk + 1 tblsp chocolate syrup
  7. 3 cups cheddar popcorn
  8. ½ cup lowfat yogurt + 2 tblspn honey + 1 tblspn cocoa powder + ½ cup rassberries
  9. ½ apple + 1 slice chedar cheese
  10. 3 tblspn chocolate chips + 8 pistas
  11. 25 almonds
  12. 1 avocado
  13. 1 cup strawberries
these can be found quick and easy to pack in tiffin box and go to office.
